Help make us better

Tell us where you paddle and how you are built. Those are the two things we keep guessing at, and guessing is how a size chart stops working and how a good local race never hears from us.

About 15 minutes. The sizing questions at the end are optional and anonymous.

How to measure yourself

Level Six measurement diagram: A is chest at the fullest part, B is waist at the smallest part, C is hips at the widest point over the buttocks, D is inseam from the crotch to the ankle, and E is arm length from the centre back of the neck along the shoulder and down the arm to the wrist.

Only if you are answering the sizing questions. Use a soft tape measure, snug but not tight. Neck is not lettered on the drawing.

  • A – Chest / bustPlace one end of the tape measure at the fullest part of your chest, wrap it around your shoulder blades and back to the front to get the measurement.
  • B – WaistPlace one end of the tape measure at the smallest part of your waist, wrap it around and back to the front to get the measurement.
  • C – HipsStart at one hip and wrap the tape measure around your rear, around the other hip and back to where you started. Make sure the tape is over the largest part of your buttocks.
  • D – InseamThis is the distance from the uppermost inner part of your thigh to the bottom of your ankle. Stretch the tape from your crotch to the ankle bone.
  • E – Arm lengthMeasure from the centre back of your neck, at your spine, along the top of your shoulder and down your arm to where the wrist meets your hand, just past the wrist bone.
  • NeckFrom the centre front of your neck, or adam's apple, around and back to the front.

Fifteen minutes, and the sizing questions are optional. Every answer goes to the people who draw the patterns and pick the events we support.
