GERMANY 2011

I'm posted up in my little German hotel room at the Zur Isar in Plattling, Germany. Today is the first day of the week, the last day of team training and the official beginning of the 2011 World Championships of Freestyle Boat Riding. Things get under way at 6 p.m. this afternoon with the 'Opening Ceremonies' followed by a dinner.

Tomorro at 9 a.m. the senior women kick things off... I think... followed by the open boaters and possibly squirt. Then on Wednesday the 22 it's a full day of K-1 Mens riding with 16 heats total. On Thursday the Juniors run the show...
The Canadian team is looking really really good... and we're paddling ok aswell.

Below is a video from Open Training... When the skies were clear and the wave was lit by the warmth of the sun. The forecast for this week is rain, on and off. The water levels are up and the feature is looking better.
