The source of the Amazon... can it be rediscovered? West Hansen, the man on the left became the mastermind to find out the answer to that very question. After 3-4 weeks of paddling from the peaks of the Andes down to where the river becomes flat in route to the ocean the white water group headed home but West and his "flat water team" continued all the way to the ocean becoming the first team ever to complete the full descent of the Montaro to Amazon Rivers!
