Landon Miller Statement

May 15, 2025

Regarding Landon Miller and the recent news: May 8th, 2025

Landon Miller had been a voluntary, unpaid member of the Level Six team since 2022. He was placed on probation within our team a year ago due to reasons unrelated to the current allegations he is facing. For Level Six, this means that there were internal concerns regarding his professionalism and long-term viability as an ambassador. As a result, we significantly reduced our involvement with Landon, limited his representation of the brand, and made it clear he would need to demonstrate professionalism to remain involved.

During this time, we monitored his professional conduct and community involvement to the best of our ability. Despite this, we were not aware of the nature or horrifying extent of the allegations now being shared. Like many of you, we learned about them for the first time through a recent post on Reddit. As a company, Level Six believes in due process and the presumption of innocence — fundamental principles of any democracy. But we also recognize that this system can fail victims and often makes it difficult for them to come forward. While we hope that a fair and transparent process unfolds, where all voices are heard and truth can come to light, we recognize that this is not always the reality for survivors. Regardless of that hope, on the morning of May 7th, we informed Landon that he had been permanently removed from the Level Six team.

Making the paddling community the space it should be for women is incredibly important to us. We have zero tolerance for those who act contrary to that view. The paddling space should be a safe and inclusive environment for all, and any actions within or outside paddling that contradict this statement are not tolerated. Regardless of legal outcomes, Level Six felt that Landon could no longer represent us and the values that we hold dear. If you hear of anyone representing Level Six acting in a manner that contradicts these values, we want to know.

We know there can be an assumption that brands always know what their ambassadors are doing — but the reality is more complicated. Our athletes live and paddle all over the world. We often rely on the broader paddling community to help us uphold our standards. If you see something, say something. You can trust that it will be taken seriously.

The extent of the allegations being made are horrifying; we are appalled by them and have the utmost support for those affected. Level Six has zero tolerance for this type of behaviour in our community.

If you have any concerns, tips, or questions — even if you think we may already know — please email athletes@levelsix.com. Your message will be treated confidentially, and we commit to accountability in how we respond. If you have direct evidence related to criminal allegations, we strongly encourage you to contact law enforcement.
